If you have a basic level of neck strength it is time to try some advanced exercises. Watch this video for a demonstration of advanced neck strengthening exercises.

I have found that the great thing about these exercises is that they not only strengthen the neck in all directions, but they also reduce neck stiffness and relieve pain. These are great exercises to do after spending a lot of time sitting at a computer, reading and driving.

Even though these are more advanced exercises for the neck, anyone at any age should be able to do them. If these are difficult to do or painful get a check up with your physiotherapist.
